Recently, the finals of the China International College Students Innovation Competition concluded in Shanghai. The research project “Constant‑Wind Reversal System for Main Ventilators” submitted by Shanxi Anyun Fan Co., Ltd. stood out among 5.14 million entries from 5,406 institutions across 153 countries and regions worldwide, earning the Gold Award at the 2024 China International College Students Innovation Competition.


This competition is co-hosted by the Ministry of Education and 11 other departments, together with the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, and is currently the country’s premier innovation and entrepreneurship event—boasting the highest standards, the broadest scope, the greatest influence, and the largest number of participants.

As a key high-tech enterprise in the traditional manufacturing sector of Yanhu District, Shanxi Anyun Fan Co., Ltd. has, in recent years, closely tracked industry trends, steadfastly harnessed innovation and transformation to generate new momentum for growth, and advanced the modernization of its processes and the premiumization of its products.

As corporate competition intensifies and internal involution among peers grows ever more severe, relying solely on price wars or brute‑force labor is no longer sufficient to sustain a company’s ongoing growth. Therefore, we must invest heavily in research and innovation. Since 2021, we have participated in the “Internet Plus” College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition—including the enterprise track—and have consistently conducted rigorous research, refined our scientific capabilities, and ensured that our products better meet the demands of intelligent coal‑mine operations. Along this journey, our product technologies have continued to advance.


From developing and manufacturing primarily small‑scale counter‑rotating fans for underground mines to focusing on the R&D of long‑shaft fans better suited to large‑scale operations, the company has also undertaken projects in long‑shaft fan development, online monitoring and electrical control system design, as well as the creation of intelligent mining equipment. Over its more than 40 years of existence, the enterprise has remained at the forefront of digitalization, leveraging new technologies and business models to upgrade traditional industries, fostering deep integration between conventional manufacturing and the digital economy, and injecting fresh momentum and competitive advantages into its growth.

In addition, Anyun plans to expand its research into other product categories and penetrate the non‑coal market. Currently, our core offerings primarily serve coal mines, as well as gas‑control tunnels and mining operations. Moving forward, we may develop explosion‑proof ventilation systems for water‑diversion projects, inter‑provincial tunnels, and mountain‑pass tunnels, and we could also introduce high‑capacity exhaust fans for power plants and other applications requiring substantial airflow, thereby further opening up the non‑coal sector. Of course, our next step is to gradually expand into overseas markets; given logistics constraints, we are likely to initially promote smaller‑sized fans abroad. This outlines our strategic roadmap: shifting from the domestic market to a global footprint, and broadening our portfolio from coal‑mine ventilators to a wider range of equipment for non‑coal mining and related industries.


The achievements of Shanxi Anyun Fan Co., Ltd. in scientific and technological innovation exemplify the Yancheng High-tech Industrial Development Zone’s commitment to pursuing excellence and embracing cutting-edge advancements.
